\tMasters of Medicine in relevant area of specialization from a recognized academic institution.
\n\tBachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB)
\n\tAt least three years teaching and research experience at a university.
\n\tRelevant Work experience in Industry
\n\tRegistered and licensed to practice by the Relevant Professional Body.
\n\tAn earned PhD degree qualification in the relevant area from a recognized\/accredited university OR being registered\/registrable for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree qualification will be an added advantage<\/p>\n

Duties and responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tDeliver online lectures, virtual demonstrations, and tele-medicine training sessions in accordance with the approved curriculum and course schedules.
\n\tPrepare digital teaching materials, e-learning resources, and virtual instructional content for undergraduate and graduate students.
\n\tFacilitate interactive online learning experiences through virtual learning platforms and teleconferencing technologies.
\n\tAdminister online Continuous Assessment Tests (CATs), assignments, practical assessments, and examinations in line with University regulations.
\n\tSet, invigilate, mark, and submit assessments and examination results within the stipulated timelines.
\n\tProvide academic guidance, mentorship, and supervision to students through virtual platforms.
\n\tSupport students in clinical case discussions, tele-medicine simulations, research activities, and evidence-based practice.
\n\tEnsure effective utilization of tele-medicine technologies and digital learning systems to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
\n\tMaintain accurate electronic student records, attendance registers, assessment reports, and learner progress updates within the Academic Management System.
\n\tKeep abreast of advancements in tele-medicine, digital health technologies, and medical education to enhance curriculum delivery.
\n\tParticipate in virtual academic meetings, curriculum reviews, quality assurance activities, workshops, conferences, and professional seminars as required.
\n\tCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders in advancing research, innovation, and digital healthcare learning initiatives.
\n\tObserve confidentiality, data protection requirements, and professional ethical standards in the delivery of online and tele-medicine instruction.
\n\tUndertake any other academic-related duties assigned by the Dean or Head of Department from time to time.<\/p>\n
