THE ROLE
\nYou will:<\/p>\n
\tManage patients with uncontrolled hypertension and diabetes.
\n\tStabilize patients for safe surgery within defined timelines.
\n\tTrack patients through the pre-surgical optimization pathway.
\n\tRun a structured chronic disease clinic with strong continuity of care.
\n\tSupport patient adherence, follow-up, and long-term disease control.
\n\tWork closely with theatre, OPD, pharmacy, and laboratory teams.<\/p>\n
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE<\/p>\n
\tPatients are stabilized and proceed safely to surgery.
\n\tReduced surgery cancellations related to uncontrolled medical conditions.
\n\tStrong patient follow-up and continuity of care.
\n\tPatients feel supported, informed, and well cared for.<\/p>\n
IMPORTANT
\nThis is not a general outpatient role.
\nThe position requires:<\/p>\n
\tStrong clinical judgment.
\n\tHigh personal discipline and consistency.
\n\tOwnership and follow-through.
\n\tComfort working within structured systems and measurable targets.
\n\tA patient-centred approach grounded in professionalism, compassion, and excellence.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tDiploma in Clinical Medicine (Registered Clinical Officer).
\n\tValid practicing license in Kenya.
\n\t5+ years\u2019 experience in a busy medical outpatient setting managing hypertension and diabetes.
\n\tFormal training in diabetes and hypertension management is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
