About the role:<\/p>\n
\tYou will be working as part of the data Engineering team on the automated data processing pipelines. Majority of the tasks will be development and maintenance of various ETL pipelines. The purpose of the pipelines is to make the data available for various internal and external consumers. This includes receiving data from our partners, validating it and making it available for the customer scoring process. It also includes all the internal and external reporting, revenue assurance and data archiving. All these processes are essential for the company day to day operations at scale.<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tDevelopment and maintenance of data processing pipelines
\n\tParticipate in the design, implementation, and release of data science initiatives
\n\tDeliver high quality, testable, secure, readable, and documented software
\n\tCollaborate effectively in English, with local and remote peers across different teams in the organization
\n\tAssist in the evaluation of new technologies and initiatives<\/p>\n
Minimal Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tWorking proficiency with Python or any other programming or scripting language
\n\tWorking proficiency with SQL or R
\n\tAdvanced working proficiency with any RDBMS, including deployment and performance optimizations.
\n\tExperience with GIT, automated testing and CI\/CD
\n\tFamiliarity with the Linux environment as a user and developer (Debian is a plus).
\n\tMinimum 2+ years working experience<\/p>\n
Ideal Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tDeep understanding of PostgreSQL database system
\n\tExperience with software development best practices.
\n\tExperience with system monitoring and issue debugging.
\n\tExperience with system scaling and addressing continuous integration
\n\tKnowledge of database administration
\n\tWorking proficiency in Java or C\/C++ is a plus
\n\tWillingness to learn new technologies
\n\tModelling and data science experience is a plus<\/p>\n
