Purpose of the Role:<\/p>\n
\tThe Business Development Manager \u2013 VMI will be responsible for driving growth within the Vendor Managed Inventory division by identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and delivering tailored supply chain and trade finance solutions. This role plays a key part in helping clients optimise working capital, streamline import\/export operations, and strengthen their supply chain capabilities.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tIdentify and secure new VMI business opportunities within existing accounts and targeted market sectors.
\n\tDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and strategic partners.
\n\tWork closely with internal logistics, operations, customs, and compliance teams to ensure seamless execution of VMI solutions.
\n\tConduct market analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for growth.
\n\tPrepare and present proposals, business cases, and client solutions.
\n\tMonitor account performance, risk exposure, and compliance with company policies and international trade regulations.
\n\tSupport the implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the VMI service offering.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 5 years’ experience in trade finance, supply chain finance, logistics, freight forwarding, or a related field.
\n\tProven experience in business development and client relationship management.
\n\tStrong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
\n\tSound understanding of international trade, supply chain operations, and financial processes.
\n\tAbility to analyse complex information and provide practical business solutions.
\n\tResults-driven with strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.<\/p>\n
