{"id":96176,"date":"2026-05-15T10:02:13","date_gmt":"2026-05-15T10:02:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/kenya\/job\/human-resources-generalist-nairobi\/"},"modified":"2026-05-15T10:02:26","modified_gmt":"2026-05-15T10:02:26","slug":"human-resources-generalist-nairobi","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/kenya\/job\/human-resources-generalist-nairobi\/","title":{"rendered":"Human Resources Generalist (Nairobi)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Description<\/p>\n<p>Performance Management<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport implementation of performance appraisal processes.<br \/>\n\tTrack employee performance and development plans<br \/>\n\tAdvise managers on performance issues<br \/>\n\tSupport employee performance planning, monitoring, and appraisal through training, coaching, and corrective discipline.<br \/>\n\tScheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counselling employees and supervisors.<br \/>\n\tMaintain Human Resource staff job results by counselling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results<br \/>\n\tEnsure confirmation evaluations are executed by line managers based on targets in the 30-60-90-day plan.<\/p>\n<p>Employee Relations<\/p>\n<p>\tAddress employee concerns and grievances<br \/>\n\tSupport disciplinary processes (warnings, suspensions, terminations)<br \/>\n\tPromote a positive workplace culture<\/p>\n<p>HR Administration<\/p>\n<p>\tManage employees&#8217; records on performance reviews, disciplinary processes and terminations.<br \/>\n\tIn liaison with the operations manager \u2013 Track all temporary staff engaged<br \/>\n\tAdminister staff personal information through HR Information System<\/p>\n<p>Industrial and Employee Relations Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tOffer sound advice to management on all HR Issues to enable it make informed decisions<br \/>\n\tInterpret for and enforce compliance of statutory and legal requirements as well as Company HR policies both to the employees and the management<br \/>\n\tFacilitate the formulation and review of all relevant HR policies in line with the Kenyan labour laws.<br \/>\n\tMaintain good industrial relations by promptly managing staff grievances and disciplinary matters.<br \/>\n\tFacilitate consultation or negotiations with government and relevant stakeholders such as FKE and the Labour Office to ensure flow of relevant information and maintenance of harmonious working relationships.<br \/>\n\tIn liaison with company lawyer(s), handle all staff legal issues<\/p>\n<p>Training &amp; Development<\/p>\n<p>\tLiaise with Line Managers to identify and assess training needs<br \/>\n\tCoordinate staff training programs<br \/>\n\tMonitor employee development initiatives<br \/>\n\tRecommend appropriate training &amp; development programmes aimed at building staff capacity to achieve desired performance levels.<br \/>\n\tOnboarding of interns and new employees, ensuring that each has a 30-60-90 plan upon which confirmation is based.<\/p>\n<p>Compliance &amp; Policy Implementation<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure compliance with Kenyan labour laws<br \/>\n\tImplement and enforce HR policies and procedures<br \/>\n\tKeep up to date with legal and regulatory changes\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>\tStrong interpersonal and communication skills\u00a0<br \/>\n\tConflict resolution and problem-solving ability\u00a0<br \/>\n\tHigh level of integrity and confidentiality\u00a0<br \/>\n\tOrganizational and time management skills\u00a0<br \/>\n\tAbility to manage a diverse, mobile workforce<br \/>\n\tAbility to multitask and work under pressure<br \/>\n\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field<br \/>\n\tCHRP-K certification (or progress toward certification)<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices<br \/>\n\t2\u20135 years of HR experience<br \/>\n\tFluent in spoken and written English and Kiswahili<\/p>\n<p>Apply Through:<\/p>\n<p>airflo.mcidirecthire.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/airflo.mcidirecthire.com","_company_name":"Airflo Limited","_company_website":"https:\/\/airflo.nl\/","_company_tagline":"Airflo is a leading logistics company in perishables that specializes in providing world-class fresh logistics solutions for fresh cut flowers, herbs, cuttings, produce and fruits moving through key international trade lanes.
