Performance Management<\/p>\n
\tSupport implementation of performance appraisal processes.
\n\tTrack employee performance and development plans
\n\tAdvise managers on performance issues
\n\tSupport employee performance planning, monitoring, and appraisal through training, coaching, and corrective discipline.
\n\tScheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counselling employees and supervisors.
\n\tMaintain Human Resource staff job results by counselling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
\n\tEnsure confirmation evaluations are executed by line managers based on targets in the 30-60-90-day plan.<\/p>\n
Employee Relations<\/p>\n
\tAddress employee concerns and grievances
\n\tSupport disciplinary processes (warnings, suspensions, terminations)
\n\tPromote a positive workplace culture<\/p>\n
HR Administration<\/p>\n
\tManage employees’ records on performance reviews, disciplinary processes and terminations.
\n\tIn liaison with the operations manager \u2013 Track all temporary staff engaged
\n\tAdminister staff personal information through HR Information System<\/p>\n
Industrial and Employee Relations Management:<\/p>\n
\tOffer sound advice to management on all HR Issues to enable it make informed decisions
\n\tInterpret for and enforce compliance of statutory and legal requirements as well as Company HR policies both to the employees and the management
\n\tFacilitate the formulation and review of all relevant HR policies in line with the Kenyan labour laws.
\n\tMaintain good industrial relations by promptly managing staff grievances and disciplinary matters.
\n\tFacilitate consultation or negotiations with government and relevant stakeholders such as FKE and the Labour Office to ensure flow of relevant information and maintenance of harmonious working relationships.
\n\tIn liaison with company lawyer(s), handle all staff legal issues<\/p>\n
Training & Development<\/p>\n
\tLiaise with Line Managers to identify and assess training needs
\n\tCoordinate staff training programs
\n\tMonitor employee development initiatives
\n\tRecommend appropriate training & development programmes aimed at building staff capacity to achieve desired performance levels.
\n\tOnboarding of interns and new employees, ensuring that each has a 30-60-90 plan upon which confirmation is based.<\/p>\n
Compliance & Policy Implementation<\/p>\n
\tEnsure compliance with Kenyan labour laws
\n\tImplement and enforce HR policies and procedures
\n\tKeep up to date with legal and regulatory changes\u00a0<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tStrong interpersonal and communication skills\u00a0

\n\tAbility to manage a diverse, mobile workforce

\n\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field
\n\tCHRP-K certification (or progress toward certification)
\n\tKnowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices
\n\t2\u20135 years of HR experience
\n\tFluent in spoken and written English and Kiswahili<\/p>\n
