Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tAssist in the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of various animal cases.
\n\tAdminister prescribed medications, vaccinations, and routine veterinary treatments.
\n\tConduct comprehensive animal health assessments and oversee patient follow-up care.
\n\tEducate clients on best practices for animal care, nutrition, and disease prevention.
\n\tMaintain precise and up-to-date treatment logs and patient medical records.
\n\tAssist in the collection of laboratory samples and the execution of basic diagnostic tests.
\n\tParticipate actively in field visits, regional vaccination drives, and community outreach programs.
\n\tEnsure full compliance with established clinic policies and national veterinary regulations.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or Degree in Animal Health and Production or a related veterinary field.
\n\tMandatory registration with the Kenya Veterinary Board (KVB).
\n\tPossession of a valid and current KVB practicing license.
\n\tProven experience in handling and treating large animals.
\n\tSolid understanding of animal healthcare protocols and safe handling techniques.
\n\tStrong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interaction.
\n\tAbility to work efficiently and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment.
\n\tBasic computer literacy for digital record-keeping and reporting.<\/p>\n
