Job Summary<\/p>\n
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will support the organization in strengthening governance, risk management, and internal control processes through independent and objective assurance activities.<\/p>\n
Job Details<\/p>\n
\tConducting financial, operational, compliance, and risk-based audits in accordance with the approved audit plan and professional standards.\u00a0
\n\tAssessing the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, governance processes, and risk management frameworks across business operations.\u00a0
\n\tIdentifying control weaknesses, operational inefficiencies, compliance gaps, and areas requiring process improvement.\u00a0
\n\tPreparing clear, accurate, and timely audit reports with practical and value-adding recommendations.\u00a0
\n\tDiscussing audit findings and recommendations with process owners and management to ensure alignment and action planning.\u00a0
\n\tMonitoring implementation of agreed management actions and tracking closure of audit findings.\u00a0
\n\tParticipating in the development and execution of the annual risk-based internal audit plan.\u00a0
\n\tEvaluating the effectiveness of resource utilization and operational efficiency within business units.\u00a0
\n\tSupporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Internal Audit function.\u00a0
\n\tMaintaining high ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional independence in line with internal audit best practices.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized institution
\n\tProfessional certifications such as CPA(K), ACCA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.\u00a0
\n\tMinimum of two (2) years\u2019 relevant experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, or a related assurance function within: Financial Institutions, Audit firms or reputable corporate organizations
\n\tExcellent communication and presentation skills<\/p>\n
