ABOUT THE ROLE<\/p>\n
\tWe are a forward-looking Nairobi law firm seeking a commercial- minded and analytically driven Business Development Officer with strong social media expertise and demonstrable revenue output to manage and grow our digital presence and support client acquisition, particularly within the banking and insurance sectors.
\n\tThis is not a junior content-posting role \u2014 we are looking for a professional who can design and execute social media strategies that directly support business development, brand authority, and client acquisition goals. You will own our social channels end-to-end and be accountable for measurable growth outcomes.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tDevelop, execute, and optimise a comprehensive social media strategy aligned to the firm\u2019s brand and business development objectives.
\n\tCreate high-quality, legally sensitive, and audience-appropriate content across agreed social media platforms
\n\tManage and maintain all the firm\u2019s social media profiles, ensuring consistency of brand voice, messaging, and visual identity.
\n\tPlan and execute paid social media campaigns with defined KPIs and conversion targets.
\n\tAnalyse and report on campaign performance using platform analytics tools and third-party tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
\n\tGenerate monthly performance reports with quantifiable metrics: reach, engagement rate, follower growth, lead volume, cost-per-click, and conversion rates.
\n\tMonitor legal and regulatory conversations, trending topics, and competitor activity within the Kenyan legal, banking, and insurance sectors.
\n\tCollaborate with partners to create thought leadership content including articles, webinar promotions, trainings, show-casing and other events and case commentary.
\n\tManage the firm\u2019s online reputation, respond to comments and messages in a professional and timely manner.
\n\tSupport event promotion for webinars, seminars, trainings, show-casings, and firm announcements.
\n\tStay current with platform algorithm changes and digital marketing best practices.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.
\n\tMinimum 5 years of hands-on social media management and business development experience \u2014 banking, insurance, financial services, or professional services sector strongly preferred.
\n\tDemonstrable, quantifiable track record: candidates must be prepared to present at least two case studies or campaign reports showing measurable outcomes (growth metrics, lead generation results, or engagement uplift).
\n\tProven experience in paid social advertising with documented ROI or performance results.
\n\tProficiency in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Express, or equivalent) and scheduling platforms.
\n\tStrong analytical capability \u2014 comfortable interpreting data and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
\n\tExcellent written English with the ability to write compellingly on professional and technical topics.<\/p>\n

\n\tDiscretion and good judgement \u2014 this role handles communications for a law firm and requires sensitivity to confidentiality.<\/p>\n
