Job Purpose:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tReviewing proposal forms, verifying client\u2019s data, assessing the proposed risk within set standards, counter checking the terms of the policy as well as reviewing the conditions of the policy.<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tAssess the proposed risk within set standards.
\n\tKeep detailed and accurate records of policies underwritten and decisions made.
\n\tReview proposal forms.
\n\tRelease policy documents, endorsements, valuation report to clients.
\n\tCommunicate with clients on the renewal terms.
\n\tMaintain high standards of customer service – responding to clients enquiries; (walk-in clients, telephone and emails).
\n\tLiaise with intermediaries and direct clients on issues relating to their policies.
\n\tApply the credit control policy by ensuring that debit\/credit notes raised are mailed. and that they reach the clients\/intermediaries within the shortest time possible.
\n\tIssue policy documents of general business.
\n\tGenerate renewal notices for all renewal business.
\n\tDelegated Authority: As per the approved Delegated Authority Matrix.<\/p>\n
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree (insurance option preferred).
\n\tInsurance certification: IIK, ACII.
\n\tAt least 3-4 years experience in the insurance industry.
\n\tComputer literate.<\/p>\n
