JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
\nThe\u00a0Synchrolift Electrical Control Operator\u00a0is responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing the electrical control systems for the Synchrolift and ensuring their safe and efficient functionality. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n
\tOperating and monitoring Synchrolift electrical control systems to ensure the safe handling of vessels during dry docking and undocking operations.
\n\tPerforming maintenance and troubleshooting of motor control center (MCC) operations and electrical components of the Synchrolift system.
\n\tObtaining and maintaining specialized training from the\u00a0Synchrolift manufacturer\u00a0regarding the electrical control system operations.
\n\tDiagnosing and repairing electrical issues in control systems and associated equipment for continuous operational support of the Synchrolift.
\n\tCollaborating with Journeymen Electricians to ensure all control system maintenance is completed to industry standards.
\n\tConducting regular quality inspections on the electrical control systems to ensure proper operation and prompt identification of faults.
\n\tReviewing operational procedures and technical manuals to perform tasks safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
\n\tResponding to technical emergencies or electrical failures concerning the Synchrolift system.
\n\tEnsuring all electrical maintenance and repairs comply with safety and operational protocols.<\/p>\n
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tStrong electrical background with demonstrated expertise in operating and maintaining complex electrical systems.
\n\tPrior experience or knowledge of motor control center (MCC) operations.
\n\tFamiliarity with electrical standards, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
\n\tCompletion of specialized training provided by the\u00a0Synchrolift manufacturer\u00a0for electrical control system operations (or ability to complete such training upon hire).
\n\tHigh school diploma or equivalent.
\n\tMust be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
\n\tPassport must be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.
\n\tAbility to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for the duration of deployment.<\/p>\n
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tJourneyman Electrician certification or equivalent technical credentials.
\n\tPrevious experience in electrical systems for large mechanical equipment or maritime systems.
\n\tPrior experience in an austere OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) environment with a multi-national workforce.
\n\tValid country driver\u2019s license and passport.
\n\tDemonstrated ability to work under pressure and troubleshoot complex electrical systems effectively.<\/p>\n
