Key ResponsibilitiesTax Compliance and Advisory<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and file statutory returns including VAT, PAYE, withholding tax, corporate tax, and other applicable taxes.
\n\tAdvise clients on tax compliance obligations and emerging tax regulations.
\n\tSupport tax planning and compliance reviews across different sectors.
\n\tLiaise with tax authorities on behalf of clients where necessary.
\n\tSupport clients during tax audits, reviews, and regulatory assessments.<\/p>\n
Advisory and Capacity Building<\/p>\n
\tProvide accounting and financial management guidance to client teams.
\n\tSupport organizations in strengthening financial policies and compliance systems.
\n\tIdentify operational and financial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
\n\tAssist clients in audit preparation and responding to audit findings.
\n\tSupport financial due diligence and compliance assessments where required.<\/p>\n
Client Accounting Support<\/p>\n
\tManage and maintain accurate accounting records for multiple client organizations.
\n\tPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
\n\tSupport clients with budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
\n\tConduct bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.
\n\tReview and improve accounting systems, processes, and internal controls.
\n\tProvide bookkeeping oversight and financial management support.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
\n\tCPA(K), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification required.
\n\tMinimum 3 years of experience in accounting, tax, or financial advisory roles.
\n\tDemonstrated experience supporting organizations across different sectors such as NGOs, SMEs, private sector companies, donor-funded projects, or consulting environments.
\n\tStrong understanding of tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
\n\tProficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.<\/p>\n
