Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tSpecifically, the Fleet Associate at Peach can expect to undertake the following tasks and activities:<\/p>\n
Lot Management & Compliance\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tOversee the safety, order, and compliance of all vehicles on the Peach lot in line with\u00a0established SOPs.\u00a0
\n\tConduct regular lot walks to ensure all vehicles are correctly positioned, secure, and in\u00a0presentable condition.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Vehicle Check-Ins\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tPerform structured vehicle check-ins upon arrival, accurately capturing all required information\u00a0including condition, mileage, fuel level, and any pre-existing damage.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Vehicle Movement\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDrive and relocate vehicles within and between branches as directed by the Fleet Manager.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure all vehicle movements are logged and authorized before execution.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Preventive Maintenance\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tExecute preventive maintenance schedules for all vehicles on the Peach lot, ensuring each vehicle is checked on time, and records are updated accordingly.\u00a0
\n\tFlag any vehicle requiring unscheduled attention promptly.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Vehicle Handovers\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tFacilitate vehicle handovers to customers, internal staff, or other branches in strict compliance\u00a0with handover guidelines.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure all handover documentation is completed accurately and filed.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Number Plate Management (KD & KG Plates)\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMaintain safe custody of KD and KG dealer number plates, ensuring they are stored securely\u00a0when not in use.\u00a0
\n\tTrack the issuance and return of all number plates using the designated log, ensuring full\u00a0accountability at all times.<\/p>\n
Key Management\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tManage and safeguard keys for all vehicles on the lot, ensuring each key is tagged and stored\u00a0correctly, and traceable.\u00a0
\n\tRecord all key issuances and returns in the key management register without exception.<\/p>\n
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise<\/p>\n
\tMust hold a current, valid Kenyan driving license.\u00a0
\n\tValid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Kenya Police
\n\tWorking knowledge of computer systems, with particular proficiency in Google Sheets for logging and tracking tasks.\u00a0
\n\tA certificate or diploma in automotive technology, mechanics, or a related field is an added advantage.\u00a0
\n\tAbility to capture accurate information during check-ins, handovers, and administrative logs.\u00a0
\n\tAbility to comfortably perform regular vehicle movement, site inspections, and hands-on operational tasks.\u00a0
\n\tDemonstrated ability to follow SOPs, meet deadlines, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.\u00a0
\n\tWorks effectively within a structured team environment and communicates proactively with supervisors.<\/p>\n
