Job Objective:<\/p>\n
To support WIOCC\u2019s finance operations by delivering accurate, timely and well-controlled accounts payable processes across multiple jurisdictions, strengthening supplier relationships, safeguarding compliance, and contributing to efficient cash flow management in a fast-paced telecommunications environment.<\/p>\n

Key Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Invoice Lifecycle Management<\/p>\n
\tMaintain the New Bills Register, ensuring all records are complete, accurate, properly supported, and audit-ready
\n\tManage the end-to-end processing of supplier invoices, including receipt, validation, coding, approval follow-up, and timely posting in line with company policies and delegated authority limits
\n\tMaintain the Disputed Invoices Register and work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve discrepancies promptly, minimise delays, and improve first-time processing accuracy<\/p>\n
Cash Flow & Liquidity Management<\/p>\n
\tWork closely with Treasury to support short-term cash flow forecasting, payment prioritisation, and liquidity planning across WIOCC\u2019s operating markets<\/p>\n
Payment Operations & Vendor Relations<\/p>\n
\tPrepare payment instructions accurately and on time, follow up on approvals, and ensure all payments are processed within agreed deadlines and control requirements
\n\tPost payments and share remittance or allocation schedules with suppliers to promote transparency, resolve queries efficiently, and maintain strong vendor relationships
\n\tMonitor aged payables and ensure suppliers are paid in accordance with agreed credit terms, contractual obligations, and approved cash flow plans<\/p>\n
Reconciliation & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tPerform monthly supplier statement reconciliations, investigate unreconciled items, and prepare clear status reports for management review and follow-up
\n\tMaintain the accuracy and integrity of accounts payable records to support month-end close, audits, tax compliance, and management reporting<\/p>\n
Offset & NetSuite Administration<\/p>\n
\tPrepare offset agreements, obtain supplier sign-off, and ensure accurate, timely processing and allocation within NetSuite
\n\tMaintain complete and up-to-date records of outstanding payables, offsets, and related supporting documentation<\/p>\n
Process Excellence & Compliance<\/p>\n
\tPromote adherence to Accounts Payable standard operating procedures, work instructions, internal controls, and approval workflows
\n\tIdentify and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce risk, strengthen controls, and support automation within the accounts payable function
\n\tEnsure compliance with applicable local and international financial regulations, tax requirements, and audit standards across operating jurisdictions<\/p>\n
General Support<\/p>\n
\tProvide the administrative and clerical support required for the timely settlement of the organisation\u2019s financial obligations
\n\tUndertake any other duties reasonably assigned from time to time in support of the Finance function<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
\n\tCPA(K), ACCA, or an equivalent professional accounting is desirable
\n\tA minimum of 5 years\u2019 relevant experience in accounts payable or a comparable finance operations role
\n\tExperience using ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, with strong working knowledge of invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment controls<\/p>\n
Experience and Skills<\/p>\n
\tStrong attention to detail, with excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
\n\tSound understanding of accounts payable controls, invoice matching, supplier reconciliations, and payment processing
\n\tStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams
\n\tAbility to plan, prioritise, and deliver to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence in working with ERP systems and finance process improvement initiatives
\n\tStrong relationship-building capability, with a service-oriented and professional approach.
