Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
In carrying out this overall function, the officer will:<\/p>\n
\tScreen and assess incoming complaints to determine appropriate course of action.
\n\tDraft investigation related documents and communications, including investigation plans, witness statements, and supporting materials.
\n\tConduct interviews with complainants, subjects, and witnesses in accordance with established procedures.
\n\tIdentify, collate, and analyze potential evidence to support investigation findings.
\n\tPrepare comprehensive investigation reports and present findings and recommendations.
\n\tSupport and follow up on the implementation of corrective action plans.
\n\tConduct system reviews in collaboration with relevant departments to identify compliance gaps.
\n\tMonitor the implementation of risk mitigation measures and track progress.
\n\tCoordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely responses to compliance audit requirements and recommendations.
\n\tChampion a culture of reporting on ethics and compliance concerns, including client responsiveness.
\n\tSupport partnership management by reviewing and evaluating partner processes from a compliance perspective.
\n\tReview partner agreements and contracts to ensure alignment with IRC policies and procedures
\n\tDesign and facilitate training sessions that promote a culture of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
\n\tPerform any other related duties as assigned<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in a relevant social science e.g. Criminal Justice\/Criminology, sociology, law, finance or a comparable field.
\n\tFive years\u2019 experience
\n\tProven ability to analyze data to report critical information.
\n\tStrong planning, organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate information accurately, clearly and swiftly.
\n\tExcellent communication skills, verbally and in writing, in English and Kiswahili.
\n\tExcellent analytical, presentation, and reporting skills.
\n\tAbility to respond to changing priorities.
\n\tAbility to work independently on own initiative
\n\tExcellent IT skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
\n\tHigh level of integrity, professionalism, self-motivation and sense of urgency
\n\tStrong commitment to IRC\u2019s mission, purpose and values.<\/p>\n
