ROLE SPECIFICATION
\nLooking for experienced Architects or Building Technicians to implement designs in all parts of Africa. Reporting to:<\/p>\n
\tThe Head of Country & Business Development (HCBD) on administrative matters.
\n\tThe Head of Architecture (HOA) in Lagos on technical and aesthetic matters.
\n\tYou will be expected to provide a full design, supervisory and implementation service.
\n\tThe ability to problem solve, use your own judgement, think creatively and work calmly under pressure are all essential skills to the role.
\n\tParticipation in the monthly online Command Centre meetings and policy formation in line with the Company Business Model is expected.<\/p>\n
Skills:<\/p>\n
\tDisplay a high capacity for multitasking.
\n\tMaintain an intense level of professionalism while handling confidential information.
\n\tAbility to communicate clearly and frequently.
\n\tHave previous success in an efficient office setting.
\n\tEffectively use all functions of Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of other drafting or rendering software is an advantage.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Building Construction.
\n\tMinimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design, project management and construction.
\n\tProven track record of successfully managing multiple projects concurrently.
\n\tStrong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
\n\tExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
\n\tAbility to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.
\n\tPMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.<\/p>\n
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tAs a Manager \u2013 Architecture (MA) you will be responsible for managing all aspects of company design and build projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within the scope of the, drawings and budget.
\n\tThis role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional interior spaces that meet client specifications and quality standards.<\/p>\n
Your duties and responsibilities require you to:<\/p>\n
\tManage and oversee all phases of the design, build and fit-out of projects from initiation to completion.
\n\tCollaborate with clients to understand their needs and ensure project specifications align with their vision.
\n\tDevelop and monitor detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence to these schedules and financial limitations.
\n\tCoordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, external consultants and internal teams to maintain project workflow and timelines.
\n\tConduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality of work, and address any issues that arise promptly.
\n\tEnsure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
\n\tCommunicate project updates to all stakeholders, maintaining transparency and managing expectations effectively.
\n\tIdentify and mitigate project risks and implement contingency plans as needed.<\/p>\n
