Job Summary<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking to hire a Field Officer who will play a key role in coordinating and implementing operational activities on the ground. The role involves conducting field visits, monitoring and reporting on progress, engaging with staff and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Field Officer will serve as a vital link between the organization and field operations, ensuring smooth execution of activities, accurate data collection, and timely feedback.
\n\tThe ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and adaptable, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tConduct regular field visits to monitor ongoing activities and provide accurate, timely reports.
\n\tCollect, verify, and maintain field data for reporting and decision-making.
\n\tSupport recruitment, onboarding, and staff management processes by ensuring field compliance with HR and administrative requirements.
\n\tEnsure employees in the field adhere to company policies, health and safety standards, and statutory regulations.
\n\tAct as the first point of contact for field employees on operational and administrative issues.
\n\tTrack staff attendance, leave utilization, and performance in field locations.
\n\tLiaise with head office to coordinate logistics, documentation, and field resources.
\n\tSupport grievance handling, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution in the field.
\n\tOrganize and coordinate field-level staff engagement activities, trainings, and team- building initiatives.
\n\tProvide feedback from the field to management on operational gaps, staff needs, and opportunities for improvement.
\n\tAssist in the implementation of company projects, ensuring objectives are met within set timelines.
\n\tMaintain accurate records of field activities and support compliance with audits and statutory requirements.
\n\tPrepare periodic field reports, including staffing, compliance, performance, and project updates.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Community Development, or a related field.
\n\tMinimum of 2\u20133 years\u2019 experience in a field-based role, operations, or project coordination.
\n\tStrong knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and field operations management.
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HRMIS or data collection tools is an added advantage.
\n\tStrong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
\n\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n\tHigh level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
\n\tMust currently reside in Kisii
\n\tThis role entails extensive fieldwork.<\/p>\n
