ROLE PURPOSE:<\/p>\n
\tTo prepare digital files and artwork for printing.
\n\tTasked as below but not limited to;<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Key Result Areas)<\/p>\n
\tWork on new designs and revise existing files which may include: typesetting, illustrations, photo manipulation, logo design, branding, and designing printed collateral
\n\tAdvise customer service staff and clients on alternative graphic options based on the project artwork, material selection, and technologies
\n\tImpose digital files for efficient print and bindery production
\n\tEffectively and professionally communicate with clients and advise of any issues concerning their files or deadline
\n\tPrepare client graphic files for optimum proofing and production results
\n\tSchedule jobs by due dates or as requested by management
\n\tEnsure file and production consistency with past and similar jobs
\n\tReceive the idea of the artwork from the client through the sales team for design purposes of the product
\n\tWork with client on getting the final artwork approved for further processing of the job.
\n\tPerform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tCertificate\/Diploma in Electronic Publication or Graphic and Design or any related course.<\/p>\n
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR THE ROLE:<\/p>\n
\tThorough knowledge of all aspects of printing processes
\n\tMs Office skills
\n\tAdobe Creative suite preferably Illustrator, photoshop, In-Design
\n\tKnowledge in Flexo and offset printing
\n\tExcellent interpersonal skills
\n\tProactive attitude with adaptability
\n\tTeam player
\n\tHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail
\n\tAbility to perform well under pressure<\/p>\n
