Reporting to the Relationship Manager \u2013 Business Development (Zonal Leader) the Job holder\u00a0will be responsible for steering the Branch into high level of performance through proper\u00a0people management strategies, high business generation, people management and\u00a0championing a customer-centric culture at the Branch. \u00a0\u00a0
\nKey Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tTake the leadership role at the Branch and mentor the Branch staff towards the\u00a0achievement of the Banks\u2019 Mission, Vision and the Banks\u2019 Strategic Objectives. \u00a0\u00a0
\n\tEnsure achievement of set targets in Customer Service, Customer Retention, Deposits\u00a0growth, growth in quality Loan Portfolio. \u00a0\u00a0
\n\tDevelop and maintain critical relationships at the Branch to enhance business\u00a0Development\u00a0
\n\tEnhance relationships with SME\u2019s, High Net worth Individuals, Churches and\u00a0Institutions to grow business.\u00a0
\n\tMaintain a balanced portfolio on Church, SME, and Retail and Corporate deposits.\u00a0Implement strategies on penetration of business segments, markets and sectors.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure growth of non-funded income business including transactional, alternate and\u00a0direct banking business.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure staff productivity is maintained through support, mentorship, and TAT and\u00a0customer service.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure compliance with both internal and external regulatory requirements.\u00a0
\n\tWorking closely with risk and compliance units to ensure effective controls to mitigate\u00a0against business risks associated with Business.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Qualities, Competencies& Experiences\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMust be a practicing Christian who lives and upholds Christian values, with a passion to\u00a0serve\u00a0
\n\tMinimum of 5 years Banking experience; both in Banking Operations and Credit\u00a0
\n\tManagement, 2 of which must have been in a supervisory or managerial position in a\u00a0
\n\tMicro Finance or Commercial Bank. \u00a0
\n\tExperience and understanding of Micro Finance business will be an added advantage\u00a0
\n\tGood people Management skills and proven ability to achieve results through others\u00a0
\n\tHave excellent negotiation, sales and marketing skills\u00a0
\n\tStrong customer service skills\u00a0
\n\tExcellent report writing and presentation skills.\u00a0
\n\tSelf-driven, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook \u00a0
\n\tMust have a clear focus on high portfolio quality and business profit\u00a0
\n\tAble to get on with others and be a team-player with excellent interpersonal skills\u00a0<\/p>\n
Qualifications\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tA Bachelor\u2019s degree in any Business-related field \u00a0
\n\tProfessional qualifications in Credit Management (CCP) and\/or Diploma in Banking\u00a0will be an added advantage. \u00a0\u00a0
\n\tMust be adept in ICT, and working knowledge of T24 will be an added advantage\u00a0<\/p>\n
