JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT \/ POSITION OBJECTIVE<\/p>\n
\tThe role involves acquiring and managing corporate clients by building trusted relationships, advising on financial needs, recommending suitable banking solutions, ensuring compliance while onboarding clients in line with the Bank\u2019s policies and procedures, providing ongoing account servicing, and identifying opportunities to expand banking services while handling administrative support for client accounts.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tOn-boarding of clients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
\n\tBusiness development by increasing earnings for corporate banking, facility uptake as well as utilization of bank products through cross-selling.
\n\tAdvising clients on their personal financial needs and objectives by analyzing their financial needs and objectives.
\n\tManage client relations in terms of growth and retentions.
\n\tResolve customer complaints quickly and effectively.
\n\tCollect vital data relevant to the Bank\u2019s account opening requirements from new customers.
\n\tDrafting corporate credit proposals and making recommendations to the credit committee.
\n\tFollow up on credit proposals, letter of offer, excess requests, notification of excesses and securities with Credit department.
\n\tMonitor relationships and attend to all queries relating to relationship accounts.
\n\tContribute to various initiatives and any other tasks as assigned by senior management team.
\n\tMaintain quality corporate asset and liability books by ensuring timely collection on arrears and excesses.
\n\tActively support deposit mobilization initiatives.
\n\tAny other duties that may be assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time.<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tOver 10 years of experience as a Corporate Relationship Manager within the banking sector.
\n\tTrade Finance experience is Mandatory
\n\tWell-versed in the Nairobi business environment, with strong capability in managing corporate portfolios, credit relationships, and trade finance transactions.
\n\tLeadership or management training will be an advantage.<\/p>\n
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in business related field from a recognized university namely: Banking & Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration \/ Management.
\n\tMaster\u2019s Degree will be added advantage.<\/p>\n
