JOB PURPOSE<\/p>\n
To design, develop, deploy and support applications the banking software and related issues raised by customers (both internal and external).<\/p>\n
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tAnalyze business software related issues
\n\tTransform business requirements and use cases into technical, functional and user designs and documentation
\n\tContribute to architectural and software design activities
\n\tDesign, Develop, test, debug, implement and maintain application software
\n\tRecommend changes to enhance established application processes \/ workflows
\n\tUpdate team on a regular basis on various tasks
\n\tResponsible for underlying data validation
\n\tCustomer management
\n\tEnsure applications availability, performance and Responsiveness<\/p>\n

Key Skills and Experience<\/p>\n
\tJ2EE Framework
\n\tObject Oriented Analysis and Design
\n\tExcellent Knowledge of Relational Databases, Oracle, MySQL, Maria DB, Postgres, MongoDB, SQL Server, etc.
\n\tWeb Services Architecture, Development and Deployment: REST, SOAP, XML
\n\tEJB (Enterprise Java Beans), Servlets and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
\n\tFamiliarity with concepts of XML, X Query, XSL, JQuery, JDBC, MVC etc.
\n\tIIS, Apache, Web Logic, JBoss Web Servers
\n\tKnowledge of Test-Driven Development<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED<\/p>\n
\tGraduate preferably in a Computer \/ IT \/ Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or a related field
\n\tAt least 4 years working experience in a systems development role
\n\tWorking knowledge of Linux \/ UNIX environment is a must\u00a0
\n\tWriting Oracle \/ SQL queries and procedures with exposure at the database level
\n\tCore banking systems knowledge; preferably Finacle is an added advantage<\/p>\n
