This role is critical in shaping regulatory strategy, ensuring compliance, and enabling successful market expansion for both human pharmaceutical and animal health products.
\nThe successful candidate will lead:<\/p>\n
\tRegulatory strategy development and execution
\n\tACTD\/CTD dossier preparation and submissions
\n\tProduct registrations, renewals, and lifecycle management
\n\tRegulatory engagement across multiple African countries
\n\tCoordination with CMOs, CROs, QA, R&D, and Supply Chain teams
\n\tImplementation of RIMS and digital regulatory systems
\n\tTeam leadership, capability building, and performance management<\/p>\n
Key Requirements
\nTo be considered for this role, candidates should have:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific field
\n\tMinimum 7+ years of regulatory affairs experience within the pharmaceutical industry, with exposure to African markets
\n\tStrong experience in ACTD\/CTD dossier preparation, submission, and review
\n\tProven experience in product registrations, renewals, variations, and lifecycle management
\n\tExperience working with both locally manufactured products and CMOs (preferred)
\n\tExperience coordinating bioequivalence studies with CROs (preferred)
\n\tStrong understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks across multiple African countries
\n\tExperience with regulatory systems, tracking tools, or RIMS platforms is an added advantage
\n\tStrong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills<\/p>\n
