To provide operational support in the underwriting processes. Act as the point of contact\/reference for the underwriting section in the face of the customer ensuring end to end service management. Always maintain a high degree of proficiency with relevant stakeholders in order to deliver on the work outputs and ensure alignment to all laid down governance and control requirements through the process.<\/p>\n
Job Description<\/p>\n
\tEnsuring renewal notices with appropriate terms are sent 60 days to renewal.
\n\tPolicy document issuance within stipulated TAT.
\n\tAssist claims department by providing the required documents and details immediately
\n\tApprove and manage major quotations
\n\tEnsure retention of existing accounts
\n\tAssist in credit control
\n\tOverseeing retention portfolio in line with business strategy.
\n\tControlling loss by assessing risk, conducting analysis and recommending policy solutions
\n\tIdentifying portfolio risks resulting from client\u2019s underlying business practices, underwriting investigations or fraud exposure.
\n\tCoordinating with internal stakeholders to initiate marketing strategies and meet market penetration and business growth objectives.
\n\tSupporting review, acceptance or denial of new or renewal business after carefully reviewing all information.
\n\tProactively address escalated customer issues.
\n\tDriving growth through collaborative engagements with various distribution channels, insurance brokers, agents, banc assurance with enhanced service accessibility & client reach.
\n\tMeeting with customers, agents and brokers to negotiate coverage, price and service delivery.
\n\tCalculating group and individual renewal rates based on customers\u2019 background, industry and demographic information.
\n\tProviding high level of assistance to help with review, classification, and rating of applications.
\n\tOffering friendly and efficient service to customers, handling challenging situations with ease<\/p>\n
Education and Experience Required:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in insurance or business-related field\u00a0
\n\tProgress in Insurance Professional Qualification
\n\tAt least 3 years\u2019 experience in underwriting<\/p>\n
