Position Summary<\/p>\n
\tThe Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting business data to support management decisions. The role will work closely with Operations, Finance, Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Production, and HR departments to improve reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and business performance.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tCollect, clean, validate, and analyze large volumes of business data.
\n\tDevelop and maintain dashboards, reports, and management KPIs.
\n\tAnalyze operational, sales, production, inventory, and financial data.
\n\tPrepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc management reports.
\n\tIdentify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
\n\tSupport budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
\n\tAutomate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
\n\tMonitor data quality and ensure data integrity across systems.
\n\tWork with department heads to understand reporting requirements and provide analytical solutions.
\n\tPresent findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.
\n\tSupport internal audit activities through data analysis and exception reporting.
\n\tDevelop performance tracking tools and business intelligence reports.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tBachelor’s Degree in Data Analysis, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
\n\tMinimum 5 years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar analytical role.
\n\tExperience working with large datasets and business reporting.
\n\tExperience in agriculture, manufacturing, export, logistics, or supply chain industries will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
Mandatory Skills<\/p>\n
\tStrong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
\n\tAdvanced Excel skills including:
\n\tPivot Tables
\n\tPower Query
\n\tVLOOKUP\/XLOOKUP
\n\tINDEX MATCH
\n\tAdvanced Formulas
\n\tData Validation
\n\tDashboard Development
\n\tData Analysis and Reporting
\n\tProficiency in Power BI or similar visualization tools.
\n\tWorking knowledge of SQL and database management.
\n\tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n\tExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.
\n\tStrong communication and presentation skills.
\n\tAbility to work independently and meet deadlines.<\/p>\n
Compensation & Benefits<\/p>\n
\tGross Salary: KES 80,000 \u2013 100,000 per month
