Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tAccounts Payables Support: Assist in preparing payments by verifying invoices and supporting documentation for expenses.
\n\tRecords Management: Maintain organized and accurate financial records (both digital and physical) to ensure easy retrieval.
\n\tTreasury Support: Provide support in daily, weekly, and monthly treasury activities, including tracking basic financial movements.
\n\tAccounts Receivables Support: Assist in monitoring billing and follow up with the relevant teams to support timely collections.
\n\tFinancial Systems: Help maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions in accounting systems.
\n\tCash Tracking: Support the tracking of cash movements for program funding and assist in basic reconciliations under supervision.
\n\tCompliance Support: Assist in ensuring proper documentation and timely filing of statutory deductions (e.g., PAYE, NSSF, VAT, etc.) under guidance.
\n\tReporting: Support preparation of monthly financial reports and summaries.
\n\tAudit Support: Assist in organizing documents and information required for audits.
\n\tCross-functional Support: Work closely with the business development team to provide basic financial and administrative support.
\n\tAdministrative & HR Support: Assist with general administrative duties including records management, and leave tracking.
\n\tGeneral Support: Perform any other duties assigned in support of the organization\u2019s operations and learning objectives.

Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
\n\tBasic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
\n\tProgress in professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with accounting systems is a plus
\n\tStrong attention to detail and willingness to learn
