{"id":96927,"date":"2026-05-29T14:06:21","date_gmt":"2026-05-29T14:06:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/kenya\/job\/human-resources-manager-11\/"},"modified":"2026-05-29T14:07:26","modified_gmt":"2026-05-29T14:07:26","slug":"human-resources-manager-11","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/kenya\/job\/human-resources-manager-11\/","title":{"rendered":"Human Resources Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Main Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Strategic HR Leadership &amp; Governance<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned to the SACCO&#8217;s strategic plan, cooperative principles, and SASRA requirements.<br \/>\n\tProvide strategic HR advisory support to Management and the Board through reports, dashboards, and Committee and Board papers.<br \/>\n\tLead workforce planning and succession planning to ensure long-term talent sustainability and business continuity.<br \/>\n\tDrive a high-performance, ethical, and member-centric culture aligned to the SACCO&#8217;s values and code of conduct.<br \/>\n\tOversee leadership development, talent management, and succession pipeline initiatives.<br \/>\n\tAdvise management and line managers on HR best practices, employee relations, and change management initiatives.<br \/>\n\tEnsure compliance with Kenyan labour laws, SASRA guidelines, internal HR policies, and fit-and-proper requirements.<br \/>\n\tChampion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR effectiveness, operational efficiency, and staff engagement.<\/p>\n<p>Human Resource Oversight &amp; People Management<\/p>\n<p>\tOversee recruitment, onboarding, deployment, and exits in line with approved staff establishment and budget.<br \/>\n\tOwn and manage the performance management framework, including appraisal systems, KPIs, and PIP governance.<br \/>\n\tApprove training needs analysis outcomes and annual training plans.<br \/>\n\tOversee employee relations, disciplinary, grievance, and dispute resolution frameworks.<br \/>\n\tApprove compensation structures, benefits frameworks, and payroll-related HR controls in liaison with Finance.<\/p>\n<p>HR Systems, Reporting &amp; Audit Support<\/p>\n<p>\tProvide oversight of HR and Administration systems (ERP, staff portal, leave systems) and automation initiatives.<br \/>\n\tPrepare periodic HR and Administration reports for Management, Committees, and the Board.<br \/>\n\tOversee implementation of internal and external audit recommendations relating to HR and Administration.<\/p>\n<p>4. Administration &amp; Facilities Management<\/p>\n<p>\tOversee office administration, facilities management, and general office cleanliness across all SACCO premises.<br \/>\n\tEnsure availability of adequate office supplies, equipment, and utilities to support uninterrupted operations.<br \/>\n\tOversee coordination of security, cleaning, transport, and other outsourced support services.<br \/>\n\tProvide oversight of office administration, facilities management, and occupational health and safety compliance.<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Experience<\/p>\n<p>Academic Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or Industrial Relations. Knowledge of relevant ERP systems will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n<p>Professional Certification<\/p>\n<p>\tHigher Diploma in Human Resource Management<br \/>\n\tMust be a CHRP (Certified Human Resource Professional)<br \/>\n\tMust be a Full and Practicing member of IHRM or CIPD<\/p>\n<p>Experience<\/p>\n<p>A minimum of 8 years working experience, with at least 5 years in an HR management role.
