The job holder will need to plan to strike the balance between having sufficient stock levels to meet demand without having surplus. This role works within the larger team and shares the responsibility for success and profitability by providing services to our internal customers which may include retail, warehouse, logistics and procurement<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>\tOversee demand planning and management processes for new and existing products.<br \/>\n\tAnalyse sales, stock levels, and other data to identify demand patterns and trends.<br \/>\n\tCollect data from internal and external sources that influence demand, such as promotions, vendor updates, and production delays.<br \/>\n\tWork closely with sales, customers, logistics, procurement, and Business Intelligence teams to improve\u00a0 forecast accuracy.<br \/>\n\tIdentify opportunities to meet customer demand during constrained supply periods.<br \/>\n\tMaintain optimal inventory levels based on projected customer demand.<br \/>\n\tAddress demand-related inquiries promptly and accurately.<br \/>\n\tMaintain and continuously enhance demand planning systems, tools, and processes to improve forecasting accuracy.<br \/>\n\tIdentify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.<br \/>\n\tEnsure compliance with all company policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.<br \/>\n\tFollow up, validate, and cross-check offer and discount activations across all branches.<br \/>\n\tVerify and cross-check the Negative Gross Profit (GP) report and escalate discrepancies.<br \/>\n\tCompile and verify the declared short-expiry report for each branch.<br \/>\n\tMaintain the promotional offer master list and share updates with relevant stakeholders.<br \/>\n\tCompile, allocate, and seek approval for promotional offer pricing.<br \/>\n\tMonitor packed stock in warehouses and bulk bins across branches; follow up on ageing, excess,<br \/>\n\tdamaged, and six-month-to-expiry stock.<br \/>\n\tExecute weekly branch replenishment as per the agreed rotation schedule.<br \/>\n\tPrepare for new shipments by coordinating timely rotation and recall of stocks according to set timelines.<br \/>\n\tConduct warehouse stock rebalancing to ensure stock adequacy in branches and maintain minimum\u2013 maximum stock levels.<br \/>\n\tEnsure timely servicing of all customer stock-related requests.<br \/>\n\tMaintain consistent weekly product rotation across all branches.<br \/>\n\tProvide insights and market feedback to the procurement department to support sourcing decisions.<br \/>\n\tFollow up closely on new product development and monitor product performance.<br \/>\n\tMonitor the billing of assigned products for Key Accounts and provide timely reports.<\/p>\n<p>Reports:<\/p>\n<p>\tTop 80% Sellers Stock Inventory Status.<br \/>\n\tExcess Inventory Report.<br \/>\n\tProjection Vs.
