Role Objective<\/p>\n
\tA residential apartment in Nairobi is seeking a mature, reliable, and hands-on Caretaker – Property to oversee the day-to-day running and smooth operation of the property.
\n\tThe ideal candidate should be practical, responsible, and proactive in ensuring cleanliness, maintenance follow-ups, tenant support, and overall property functionality.<\/p>\n
Core Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tEnsure the compound and all common areas are clean, well maintained, and presentable
\n\tSupervise security personnel, cleaners, and other service providers
\n\tReport and follow up on maintenance and repair issues
\n\tCarry out minor\/basic repairs where possible
\n\tAssist tenants with day-to-day concerns and requests
\n\tMonitor water, electricity, waste disposal, and other utility services
\n\tObserve security and general movement within the premises
\n\tFollow up on rent payments and maintain simple records
\n\tConduct regular property inspections and report issues promptly
\n\tCoordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs
\n\tMaintain an organized, safe, and orderly environment<\/p>\n
Job Specifications and Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tAt least 3 years\u2019 experience working as a caretaker, building supervisor, or similar role\u00a0
\n\tRelevant training or certification in Property Management, Building Maintenance, or related field
\n\tBasic understanding of bookkeeping (rent tracking, expenses, reporting)
\n\tPractical knowledge of general repairs and maintenance
\n\tCandidates living within or around Nairobi preferred<\/p>\n
