Job Role<\/p>\n
\tThe Forklift Operator is responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, stack, load, and unload goods within the warehouse or production facility. The role ensures safe handling of inventory, adherence to safety standards, and efficient support of warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Equipment Operation & Safety<\/p>\n
\tOperate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
\n\tConduct daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
\n\tAdhere strictly to safety protocols and workplace regulations.<\/p>\n
Inventory Handling<\/p>\n
\tLoad, unload, and transport goods within warehouse and production areas.
\n\tStack and organize products to optimize storage space.
\n\tAssist in maintaining accurate stock levels by following inventory procedures.<\/p>\n
Documentation & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tRecord movement of goods in warehouse systems.
\n\tEnsure proper labeling and documentation of items handled.
\n\tReport discrepancies or damages promptly to supervisors.<\/p>\n
Collaboration & Support<\/p>\n
\tWork closely with warehouse staff to meet operational targets.
\n\tSupport logistics and supply chain processes by ensuring timely movement of goods.
\n\tAssist in preparing goods for dispatch and delivery.<\/p>\n
Process Improvement<\/p>\n
\tSuggest improvements for warehouse efficiency and safety.
\n\tParticipate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tKCSE Certificate or equivalent.
\n\tValid forklift operator license\/certification.
\n\tMinimum 2 years\u2019 experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
\n\tStrong knowledge of safety standards and warehouse procedures.
\n\tGood communication and teamwork skills.
\n\tAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines.<\/p>\n
