About the Role<\/p>\n
To provide complete and appropriate insurance solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.<\/p>\n
Key Accountabilities<\/p>\n
\tPresent, promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers.
\n\tEstablish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
\n\tReach out to customer leads through cold calling and continuously improve through feedback.
\n\tExpedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
\n\tDeliver the agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within agreed timelines.
\n\tCoordinate sales effort\/activations with team members and other departments.
\n\tAnalyze the territory\/market\u2019s potential, track sales and status reports.
\n\tSupply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services.
\n\tKeep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
\n\tAny other duties as may be assigned from time to time.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Academic & Professional<\/p>\n
\tDiploma from a reputable institution. Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent will be of an added advantage.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tCertificate of proficiency in Insurance (COP) – Mandatory.
\n\tACII or AIIK or progress towards the same will be an added advantage.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\tSix months sales experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Competencies<\/p>\n
\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n\tExcellent knowledge of MS office.
\n\tPrioritizing, time management and organizational skills\u00a0
\n\tExcellent planning and organization skills.
\n\tAbility to work under pressure.
\n\tExcellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
\n\tKnowledgeable with industry\u2019s rules and regulations.
\n\tResults driven and customer focused.
\n\tBasic understanding of the insurance industry and products.\u00a0<\/p>\n
