Budget Management<br \/>Develop exceptional proposals and\/or concepts for financial support and\u00a0sustainability of the programme;<br \/>Manage project budgets and ensure maximum but prudent use of the available funds\u00a0to achieve project objectives within the programme<br \/>Develop appropriate fundraising strategies as well as sustainable alternative revenue\u00a0sources;<br \/>Map out the resource requirements of specifically assigned projects under the Citizen<br \/>Demand and Oversight programme and mobilize resources targeting development\u00a0partners whose criteria match the needs of the programme;<br \/>Develop and track budgets, and monitor programme expenditure against budgets for\u00a0the assigned project activities;<br \/>Manage donor contracts for assigned projects;<br \/>Lead social enterprise and local resource mobilization efforts for anti-corruption work\u00a0through generating additional resources from consultancies about the programme\u00a0objectives and mobilize resources from the private sector and citizens.<br \/>Public Communication and Social Media Advocacy<br \/>Write well-thought-out, publishable articles on corruption and related topics, every\u00a0two months, for management\u2019s consideration;<br \/>Maintain an active presence on social media that is interfaced with TI-Kenya\u2019s\u00a0presence in line with the organisation\u2019s social media policy and guidelines;\u00a0In conjunction with the Communications department, initiate and participate in\u00a0mainstream and social media engagements focusing on pertinent corruption issues.<br \/>ALAC Coordination<br \/>Schedule client appointments, conduct initial interviews, and, where appropriate,\u00a0provide legal advice, make records of clients\u2019 calls, make referrals, and follow up cases\u00a0reported to the ALAC;<br \/>Coordinate the production of publicity and awareness materials for ALAC;<br \/>Organize and file ALAC documents and other information relating to the Regional\u00a0Office;<br \/>Develop project reports and documentation of all ALAC and other TI-Kenya activities\u00a0in the North Rift Region;<br \/>Provide overall management and compile weekly updates of the ALAC database;<br \/>Continually review the ALAC database to identify and document trends, and develop\u00a0effective advocacy strategies;<br \/>Establish and facilitate cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams of pro-bono<br \/>advocates to represent qualified clients in public interest cases on corruption and\u00a0integrity;<br \/>Identify potential public interest cases from the ALAC case log, research them, and\u00a0develop multi-pronged strategies of dealing with them, including but not limited to\u00a0public\/strategic\/impact litigation.<br \/>QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<br \/>Minimum of a bachelor\u2019s degree in law from a recognized university;<br \/>Advocate of the High Court of Kenya;<br \/>At least 5 years\u2019 relevant work experience in anti-corruption, elections and electoral\u00a0reforms, governance, access to justice, and stakeholder engagement, including\u00a0conducting advocacy initiatives among legislators, public officials, and stakeholders\u00a0from different sectors;<br \/>Proven experience in legislative drafting and advocacy;<br \/>Proven experience in managing partnerships, particularly in the governance and anticorruption sector;<br \/>Proven experience in understanding the anti-corruption legal framework in Kenya;<br \/>Experience and ability to conceptualize, implement, and evaluate programmes.<\/p>\n<h3>How to Apply<\/h3>\n<p>Interested and qualified?
