Department:\u00a0RecoveriesLocation:\u00a0Lilongwe, Central RegionValidity period:\u00a020\/06\/2025 \u2013 04\/07\/2025About the Role\u00a0An opportunity has arisen for FINCA Limited (Malawi) dynamic, professional, and qualified candidate to fill the below vacancy tenable at one of its offices: \u2013Reporting to the Loan Monitoring and Recovery Manager, the job holder will: \u2013Draw Recovery Plans every fortnight in coordination with the Loan Monitoring and Recovery Manager.Collect all information concerning collateral and security realization from each cluster\/branch.Highlight and escalate any credit failures to identify ways of improving the loan approval process.Follow up with loan recovery deposits with the Branches.Manage Branch Recoveries in co-ordination with the Branch Recovery Team from the office.Manage Branch Recoveries with the Branch Recovery Team in the fields.Ensuring that all collateral is attached and sold in accordance with established policies and procedures and proceeds from the sales are remitted to FINCA on time.Prepare recovery status reports monthly and when requested to do so by Management.Review justifications for write-offs submitted by staff against real information from the field (clients).Perform administrative work or other job functions related to collections and recoveries.About the Candidate\u00a0Job Requirements:\u00a0QualificationDiploma in any finance\/business-oriented field.Experience1-year relevant job experience.Functional skills:Ability to effectively sell and represent FINCA.Basic computer skills: mainly excel and windows.Business management skillsBasic credit analysis skillsObservation skillsAnalytical skills and logical reasoningA good feeling for numbersExcellent public relations skillsWillingness to work in the field, sometimes for long hours.Managerial\/professional skills:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Planning and organizing skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A team player who is also able to work independently.Good problem-solving skills.Good negotiation skills.Customer-oriented.Social consciousness.Integrity and professional ethics.Goal and target oriented.How to Apply\u00a0Reply by email sending your cover letters with resumes to:\u00a0vacancy@fincamalawi.org<\/p>\n
