JOB TITLE: NURSE AND MIDWIFE (4)JOB PURPOSE:To provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in medical, surgical, peadiatric and Obstetric units according to established standards and practices. To help make the company\u2019s Clinic a place where clients feel taken care for.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Consult with and keep supervisor informed of activities and well-being of patients assigned to you.Follow established routines and utilize supplies and equipment in cost-effective manner.Maintain a clean, orderly, safe environment for patients and personnelMaintain patient\u2019s rights and confidentially on patient information.Admit and orient patients. Receive detailed reports on assigned patients. Write on-going reports on condition of patients.Prepare for Doctor\u2019s rounds and accompany Doctors on rounds. Ensure that Doctor\u2019s orders on patients are carried out. Arrange for appointments when patients are discharged.Attend to patients\u2019 personal hygiene, i.e., bed bath, oral care, hair care, finger nails and pressure area care.Give medications accordingly so too dressings and ambulating of patients. Feed patients.Check IV\u2019s, catheter and record intake and output of patients. Check V\/S, follow laboratory results and ensure that the results are pinned on patient chart.Attend in-service trainings and other meetings. Ensure cooperation with other personnel.Attend to any other duties as assigned by supervisors.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Education and ExperienceGraduate of a Diploma or Degree from an accredited school of nursing. Registered and current license.Sufficient previous clinical experience in medical and surgical nursing.Closing dates for receiving applications is 04th July, 2025.
