\nResponsible to:\u00a0Principal Network AdministratorPurpose of the jobTo provide technical support and maintenance services for the ICT network infrastructure of Parliament.Duties\u00a0Monitors and maintains network systems, including LAN and WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks;Assists in the installation, configurations, maintenance and upgrading of network and hardware;Resolves network security by monitoring and managing firewalls, VPNs, and other security systems;Conducts regular audits of network systems and implement improvements to optimize performance;Documents network configurations, issues resolved, and solutions implemented;Supports ICT training sessions on network usage and security for users; and,Works closely with other IT staff and departments to implement technical solutions.Qualifications and ExperienceDegree in Information Technology or Computer Science or a related field.
