SENIOR ICT OFFICER SECURITY (NF5)Posted:\u00a028 Jul, 2025Closes:\u00a005 Aug, 2025 at 6:00 PMBackgroundThe National Economic Empowerment Fund Limited (NEEF) is a government-owned Microfinance Institution whose mission is to economically empower ordinary and underserved Malawians (particularly women, youth, and persons with disability) through the provision of quality, affordable and sustainable microfinance services for improved livelihoods.NEEF invites applications from suitably qualified, mature, ambitious, professional Malawi Nationals with a passion for results and respect for ethics and hands-on experience to fill the vacant position.Job DescriptionTo support the Chief ICT Officer (Security) in safeguarding systems, networks and data from security breaches, threats and unauthorized access.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesConducting regular updates, routine system audits, vulnerability assessments, and patches to security software and systems.Setting up and configuring security tools and software.Implementing and monitoring of network traffic, system activity, and security tools to detect potential security vulnerabilities.Responding to security incidents and support the documentation of incidents for analysis and reporting.Maintaining accurate and up to date documentation of security incidents, audits, and compliance for reference.Deploying security measures to NEEF staff to protect ICT applications and infrastructure from breaches, malware, and other threats.Distributing firewalls, antiviruses software\u2019s, intrusion detection systems and other security tools to NEEF staff.Conducting security checks on the infrastructure and implement remedial measures.Securing end points and regularly updating NEEF\u2019s security systems.Preparing ICT Security dataQualification and ExperienceBachelor\u2019s Degree in ICT, Information Technology, Computer Science or any related field from an NCHE accredited institution;3 years of relevant work experienceMethod of ApplicationInterested candidates are encouraged to apply online by clicking the **\u201cApply Now\u201d** button below.The Chief Executive Officer
