SENIOR ICT OFFICER INFRASTRUCTURE (NF5)Posted:\u00a028 Jul, 2025Closes:\u00a005 Aug, 2025 at 6:00 PMBackgroundThe National Economic Empowerment Fund Limited (NEEF) is a government-owned Microfinance Institution whose mission is to economically empower ordinary and underserved Malawians (particularly women, youth, and persons with disability) through the provision of quality, affordable and sustainable microfinance services for improved livelihoods.NEEF invites applications from suitably qualified, mature, ambitious, professional Malawi Nationals with a passion for results and respect for ethics and hands-on experience to fill the vacant position.Job DescriptionTo troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assisting in the implementation of Infrastructure upgrades under the guidance of the Chief ICT Officer \u2013 InfrastructureKey Duties and ResponsibilitiesConducting regular inspections and basic maintenance of ICT infrastructure including networks, servers, storage, work stations and data centres.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption of NEEF\u2019s ICT services and escalate unresolved problems to the Chief ICT Officer \u2013 Infrastructure.Contributing to technical tasks within infrastructure projects and ensuring timely completion and alignment with NEEF\u2019s needs.Providing first-line support for end users, addressing basic network connectivity and system performance.Setting up and configuring workstations, peripherals, and basic network components.Maintaining accurate records of hardware and software inventory including infrastructure and configurations and updates for audit purposes.Preparing infrastructure data.Qualification and ExperienceBachelor\u2019s degree in ICT, Information Technology, Computer Science or any related field from an NCHE accredited institution;3 years relevant work experience in a similar roleMethod of ApplicationInterested candidates are encouraged to apply online by clicking the **\u201cApply Now\u201d** button below.The Chief Executive Officer
