WAY Ministries is inviting applications for suitably qualified and experienced school leaders for this exciting and dynamic position.The successful candidate will have a strong background in the English Cambridge International Curriculum, significantleadership experience, intercultural competencies, prudent financial management andaclear vision for how the school can flourish.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Head Teacher is responsible for implementing the Mission and Vision of Montessori Private Christian School and is responsible for its overall leadership and management. The candidate must be able to hold site and curriculum responsibilities that include: Leading and directing the general school management. Develop a strategic plan for the improvement of the school. Provide school leadership in collaboration with the Senior Management Team of WAY Ministries.Participate in planning, organizing, budgeting and reviewing progressonschool\u2019s goals.Actively participate with other teams to enhance marketing, and further the development of the school. Organize and conduct meetings with parents and teachers to ensure positive out comes for all parties.Take the role of Head of Academics and monitor teachers\u2019 work plans and implementation of daily instruction.Act as an instructional leader in the primary school program, track student achievement, coach teachers and analyse assessment data.Develop review systems to ensure a robust evaluation of teachers\u2019 performance.Curriculum development, implementation, resourcing and training for all staff members.Leading personnel management for the school, including conductingperformance reviews and hiring.Be an excellent role model, exemplifying high teaching standards and promoting high expectations for all school community members. The Head teacher must understand the Child Protection Policy, Teacher Code of Conduct, and all other related policies. The Head teacher reports to the Executive Director of WAY Ministries. Qualifications, Skills and ExperienceThe ideal candidate should have an appropriate undergraduate degree in Education or any equivalent. Excellent communication skills, ability to effectively capture and convey corporate or high-level ideas.\u00a0 Emotionally stable, spiritually mature, honest and transparent.\u00a0 Advanced computer skills\u00a0 Experience in remote learning and online training.\u00a0 Experience with the English International Curriculum.\u00a0 Minimum of 4 years of previous experience in school administrationat aleadership level.\u00a0 A proven track record of monitoring and improving student achievement.
