\nLocation:\u00a0Blantyre (Residential)Full timeJob Summary:The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment in assigned areas. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks, ensuring that all rooms and common areas meet established cleanliness standards.\u00a0Key Responsibilities:Supervise housekeeping staff by assigning tasks, monitoring progress and providing guidance to the residential staff.Ensuring cleanliness standards by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the residential area.Inspecting rooms and the residential area by conducting regular inspections to ensure rooms and areas are clean and well maintainedMaintaining records, by keeping accurate records of cleaning schedules, inventory and staff performance.Training staff by providing training to housekeeping staff on clean procedures, safety protocols and customer service.Budget Management by managing housekeeping budget and making recommendations for cost saving initiativesQuality control by implementing quality control measures to ensure high standards of servicesSafety and security by following safety protocols and procedures.Communication by communicating effectively with other staff members.\u00a0Qualifications and Skills:Proven experience as a housekeeper or in a similar role preferred.Leadership skills, having the ability to supervise and motivate staffProblem solving skills, ability to handle complaints and issues efficiently.Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of performance.Good time management skills and attention to detail.Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to lift, push, or pull heavy items.Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.Strong organizational and communication skills.\u00a0Education and Experience:Certificate in Hospitality Management those with a Diploma will have an added advantage.Minimum: Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent.With 5 years\u2019, experience in House Keeping as well as laundry.\u00a0Working ConditionsMay be required to work weekends or evenings.Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment.Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods.\u00a0The qualified candidates must submit their application, copies of certificate, resume and all the necessary requirements to the following email address;\u00a0shro.creckhardware@gmail.com\u00a0CC\u00a0financemanager@ckcoldstoragelimited.comClosing date for receiving applications is Friday, 29th\u00a0August, 2025.<\/p>\n
