\nCompany: LutaIncPosition SummaryLuta Inc is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Investment Analyst to join our team in Blantyre.This is a hybrid role (combining onsite and remote work), but the candidate must be based in Blantyre or willing to relocate for regular in-person engagements.The Investment Analyst will play a critical role in our investment process \u2013 from evaluating potential SME deals to monitoring our existing portfolio \u2013 and will report directly to the CEO. You will collaborate with team members both in Malawi and internationally, contributing to Luta\u2019s mission of scaling SMEs through innovative financing solutions.Qualifications and SkillsEducationBachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.A Master\u2019s degree or professional certification (e.g. CFA, ACCA) is an advantage, but not required.ExperiencePrior experience in SME lending or lending in general is required.2+ years of experience in credit analysis, investment analysis, or banking roles focused on SMEs.Familiarity with challenges\/opportunities of SME finance in emerging markets is a strong plus.Analytical & Technical SkillsStrong financial analysis and financial modeling skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and\/or Google Sheets for complex modeling.Experience with company valuation, interpreting financial statements, and scenario analysis.KnowledgeSolid understanding of credit risk assessment and lending processes.Knowledge of portfolio monitoring, risk mitigation, and financial tools.Familiarity with credit scoring systems or investment frameworks is a bonus.Soft SkillsExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.Strong written and verbal communication \u2013 able to clearly present findings and recommendations.High attention to detail and accuracy in work.Team & Work EthicAble to work both independently and in a collaborative team.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.Comfortable working in a hybrid setting and with cross-cultural teams.High professional integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.AdaptabilityEagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.Passion for supporting SMEs and commitment to Luta Inc\u2019s mission.How to ApplyVisit the application page:
