FairStone Ltd is looking for a Assistant Land Surveyor for its construction site located in Cap Malheureux.ResponsibilitiesProviding boundary, topographic, and route surveys, records of survey, parcel maps and final maps.Process field electronic data for topographic surveys.Monitoring Land Surveying process.Creative thinking to resolve practical planning and development problems.Interpret drawings, data using maps, charts and plans.Utilise data from a range of sources, such as aerial photography, satellite surveys and laser beam measuring systems.RequirementsProven hands on work experience as Assistant Land Surveyor.Knowledge of Total survey equipments and CAD as well as general IT skills.Decision-making skills and ability to work independently.High level of numeracy.Map work orientation skills (for work in the field).Excellent accuracy especially when using surveying equipment’s.Capable to identify problems quickly and provide solutions.NoteIt is highly preferable that the candidate lives in the northern part of the Island.The company reserves the right to call only the best qualified candidates for the selection exercises.
