Shangri-La Le Touessrok, Mauritius is looking for a potential Commis 2 to join the Food Preparation team, who is able to produce the best quality food items available.
Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor food quality, receiving, storage and sanitation procedures for handling perishable items.Ensured food production matched forecasted demand, maintaining freshness, timely service, and minimal wastage.Monitor cleaning activities and ensure proper waste disposal without contaminating food.Check section inventories, address discrepancies with the Chef de Partie and monitor serveware for misuse or breakage.Qualifications and Experience:Secondary School Certificate.1-2 years of experience in the hotel sector, prior 5* hotel experience.Additional Requirements:Candidate must be able to work rapidly during peak hours.Candidate must be flexible to work overtime according to business demands.
