The Director of Sales will lead the hotel’s sales strategy, drive revenue growth, manage key client relationships, and ensure operational and financial excellence to maximize occupancy, RevPAR, and overall commercial performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement robust sales strategies tailored to the hotel’s unique market position, targeting both group and individual transient segments.Conduct comprehensive market analyses and competitive benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.Utilize data analytics to prepare accurate sales forecasts and actionable sales plans aligned with the hotel’s financial objectives.Collaborate with the Financial team to develop pricing strategies that optimize occupancy rates and revenue streams.Streamline sales processes through the adoption of best practices and technology, ensuring quick response times to leads and inquiries.Develop standardized operating procedures for sales activities, ensuring consistency and quality in client interactions.Oversee the effective use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track sales activities, manage client information, and facilitate reporting.Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the CRM system to support informed decision-making.Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a results-driven and collaborative culture.Financial ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the General Manager and Financial Controller to analyze market trends and adjust pricing strategies to maximize revenue per available room (RevPAR).Monitor sales performance against budgetary targets and adjust strategies to address any shortfalls.Develop and manage the annual sales budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources to support key initiatives.Provide regular financial performance reports to the General Manager and Head Office, offering insights and actionable recommendations.Evaluate sales initiatives and promotional campaigns for profitability and ROI, making adjustments to optimize outcomes.Implement cost-control measures while enhancing service delivery to maximize profitability.Join a vibrant, forward-thinking hotel brand and play a key role in shaping Ocean’s Creek Beach Hotel’s commercial success.
