Distribution Assistant
 
Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral OrganizationEnsure procedures are available, updated, and respected.Ensure job descriptions are available, signed, and regularly reviewed.Define, manage, and communicate KPIs.Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required by management.Participate in the development of new departmental projects.Act as backup for the Distribution Planner.Prepare the daily Feuille de Route.Delivery ManagementManage fleet operations, including maintenance, servicing of lorries and forklifts, and Fleeti follow-up.Minimize distribution costs and overtime.Optimize routes and monitor activities using GPS.Ensure proper presentation and discipline of the Distribution team.Conduct regular spot checks in loading bays and vehicles.Prepare daily, monthly, and annual delivery reports.Monitor and manage distribution attendance.Fleet ManagementEnsure all vehicles are in good running condition.Follow up on servicing, fitness, and repairs of fleet vehicles.Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of vehicles.Minimize repair costs.Manage replacement and disposal of fleet vehicles.Education and Experience RequirementsMinimum HSC qualification.Good communication skills.Ability to understand French and fluent in Creole.Proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
