We are seeking a reliable and experienced full-time Maid to work at two private residences in the north of Mauritius.
Work Locations3 days per week – Duraty Forest, The Vale2 days per week – Mont ChoisyKey ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness, organisation, and general upkeep of the household, including but not limited to:Thorough cleaning of all areas of the home, including:Bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living and dining areasFloors (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming)Dusting furniture, surfaces, and fixturesCleaning windows, mirrors, and appliancesLaundry management:Washing clothes (machine and hand washing where required)Ironing and folding clothes neatlyProper care of delicate fabrics and household linensChanging bed linen and making bedsMaintaining cleanliness of kitchens and bathrooms, including sanitising surfacesEnsuring cleaning equipment and supplies are used correctly and stored properlyIdentifying areas needing extra attention and taking initiative without supervisionMaintaining a high standard of hygiene, organisation, and presentation at all timesRequirementsFluent spoken English (essential)Proven experience as a maid or house cleanerAbility to work independently and manage tasks without constant supervisionTrustworthy, discreet, punctual, and detail-orientedPhysically fit and able to carry out household cleaning dutiesPosition DetailsFull-time positionFixed weekly schedule across two residencesPerksA scooter will be provided to assist with transport
