We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team. The selected candidate will ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations in line with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 2005 and promote a culture of safety across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:Implement and monitor Health & Safety policies and procedures.Conduct risk assessments and site inspections.Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.Investigate incidents/accidents and prepare reports.Coordinate Health & Safety training and awareness programs.Maintain safety documentation and records.Liaise with external authorities (Ministry of Labour/OSHA Unit, Fire Services, etc.).Assist with emergency response and fire safety drills.Requirements:Certificate/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.2–3 years’ experience in a similar role.Good knowledge of Mauritian Health & Safety legislation.Strong communication and report-writing skills.Proficiency in MS Office.
