Junior Sous-chef

Reporting directly to the Kitchen chef, the Junior Sous-chef can fill in the Kitchen chef when needed and help in resolving issues concerning job.

Located in the heart of Uniciti smart city, it provides a wide range of health, fitness, sports and leisure experiences. We are currently looking for a Junior Sous-Chef.DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:Make sure kitchen is up to safety standards and staffs are obeying sanitation rulesAddress any complaints which affect kitchen staff and resolve those issuesDealing with customer complaintsCalculate purchase order costsOrdering supplies and foodLong term planning issuesMake inventoryHelp with menu planningPlanning and directing food preparation in kitchenDuring peak hours, quick decision will be needed and meals should be prepared on timeKeep all stations clean and prepare foods without short cutsStaff schedulingResponsible for training and supervision of staffQUALIFICATIONS:A diploma from a culinary school is highly preferred5 – 6 years experience in kitchen operation and staff supervisionREQUIRED SKILLS:Know all types of cooking, including French, Italian and fusion.Be creative and dedicatedDelegate responsibilities to staffGood communications skillsBasic knowledge of Public Health and Sanitation regulations and procedures.Able to work under pressureTo Apply :Interested candidates are strongly encouraged to apply by sending a motivation letter with their CV to:The Human Resources DepartmentCasela Nature ParksRoyal Road, CascavelleOr on our HR email    The Management reserves the right to call only successful candidates for interview or not to make any appointment following this advertisement.
