A Mixologist is a professional bartender who is skilled in creating and serving custom cocktails and drinks. They typically possess extensive knowledge about spirits, mixers, and garnishes, as well as a creative flair for creating exciting new drinks.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:Monitors and manages the ordering of all beer, wine, spirits, and bar tools and equipmentHave full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents , costing and preparation methodsMaintains stock, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product qualityEnsure that appropriate stock/par level of all bar items is constantly maintainedUtilize appropriate stemware/glassware as required by company standards, polish glassware, stock bar supplies to par levelsCreate and push the limits of what mixed drinks can beHave great knowledge of alcohol and alcohol historyUse one’s expert knowledge to create innovative drinks and cocktails that explore the boundaries of flavorsHave passion to experiment in mixing new drinksSkills & Qualifications:Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, drink ingredients, and bar equipment.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Creativity and the ability to develop new drink recipes.Experience working in a fast-paced bar or restaurant environment.Attention to detail and high standards for drink presentation.Ability to handle pressure and multitask in a busy setting.
