Plant Room Supervisor

The Plant Room Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the hotel’s plant rooms and utility systems.
 
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily plant room operations, including boilers, chillers, generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and water treatment plants.Monitor system performance, analyze readings, and ensure efficient use of energy and resources.Plan, assign, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance works.Ensure plant rooms comply with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.Lead, train, and motivate Plant Room Technicians to maintain high performance standards.Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support emergency breakdown responses.Maintain accurate operational logs, maintenance records, and compliance documentation.Coordinate with the Engineering management team and external contractors when required.Support energy conservation initiatives and sustainability programs.Ensure cleanliness, order, and proper signage in all plant rooms.Qualifications & RequirementsDiploma or technical qualification in mechanical, electrical, or plant engineering.Proven experience in plant room operations, preferably in a hotel, resort, or industrial environment.Previous supervisory or team-leading experience is essential.Strong knowledge of boilers, chillers, generators, HVAC, and water treatment systems.Good understanding of safety regulations and preventive maintenance systems.Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.CompetenciesLeadership and supervisory skillsStrong technical and troubleshooting abilitySafety and compliance focusOrganizational and planning skillsReliability and decision-making
