Reporting to the Group Chief People & Continuous Improvement Officer, the selected candidate will drive the execution of the Group People Strategy by leading internal communications, change management and cultural transformation initiatives across the Group.
The role acts as the internal owner for key communication, culture and EVP programmes, including the rollout of a Group employee communication platform, ensuring consistent delivery, strong leadership alignment and sustainable adoption across all countries.Working closely with CPCIO, HR COEs, Heads of HR, Marketing & Communications, IT/Digital teams and operational leaders, the role translates People & Culture strategy into clear narratives, structured communication plans and coordinated change activities in a multi-country environment. What you will be doing:Project & Change ManagementDefine project scope, objectives, deliverables and success measures with CPCIO, HR and functional leaders.Develop and track integrated project, change and communication plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.Ensure structured weekly tracking and monthly Steering Committee / governance reporting.Drive disciplined execution, anticipate risks and escalate issues in a timely mannerInternal CommunicationsDesign and implement the Group internal communication roadmap aligned with C-Care People Strategy and transformation prioritiesLead internal communication for major initiatives, including EVP, culture transformation, acquisitions and integrationsDevelop leadership toolkits, cascading packs, FAQs, townhall content and campaignsEnsure clear, consistent and audience-appropriate messaging across all countriesMonitor communication reach, engagement and effectivenessCulture, EVP & TransformationAct as internal project lead for the Group Culture & EVP programmeCoordinate execution across countries and Business UnitsManage internal stakeholders and external consultants supporting EVP and culture initiativesTranslate EVP and cultural frameworks into clear narratives and behavioursSupport localisation while maintaining Group-level coherenceTrack culture, EVP and communication KPIs and report progress to governance forumsEmployee Communication PlatformLead the business side of the selection, design and rollout of a Group employee communication platform/intranetDefine business requirements, user journeys, content governance and editorial standardsCoordinate with IT and vendors for implementation and rolloutLead change management and adoption activities post-launchMonitor usage, engagement and drive continuous improvementStakeholder Engagement & Capability BuildingBuild communication and change capability across HR and BU teamsCoach leaders on effective change leadership and internal communicationFacilitate workshops, alignment sessions and working groupsEmbed communication and change practices into business-as-usual operationsConsolidate KPIs into dashboards and progress reportsWhat are we looking for?Degree in Communication, Digital Communication, HR, Change Management, Organisational Development or related field5–10 years’ experience in internal communications, change management, culture or transformation roles within complex organisationsProven ability to lead cross-functional, multi-country projectsStrong project management and governance capabilityExperience working with digital communication platforms/intranetsStrong stakeholder engagement and influencing skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly structured, delivery-focused and comfortable operating in ambiguityAbility to influence and coordinate without direct authority.Location: C-Care Corporate Office, Moka, MauritiusManagement reserves the right to call only the best candidates for an interview.
