Beachcomber Catering is looking for a motivated Quality Assurance Controller to join their Food Safety Department.
 
 RESPONSIBILITIES To assist in the day to day running of the Quality Assurance department.To assist in the monitoring and verification of the food safety/quality management system.Participate in food quality assessmentConduct food safety inspections and food quality controlsCarry out verification of food thermometers and gauge thermometersCarry out verification of records pertaining to food safety and qualityAssist in the daily tasks of the Quality Assurance DepartmentAssist in maintaining the halal assurance system QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEBSc (Hons) in Food Science and Technology or equivalent qualifications. PROFILE                                                                                                                    Ready to perform odd hours of work, including Sundays, Public Holidays and cyclonic days Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) at all levels and functions Excellent teamwork and leadership skills
