Trading Officer (Dealing)

Charleston Investments Limited is looking to hire a dynamic and self- motivated Trading Officer, due to the expansion of the operations.
 
As part of its continued growth, Charleston Investments Limited is looking for a driven and proactive Trading Officer ready to make an impact in a fast-paced environment. Job location: Location address is Ebene, Mauritius.  Working Hours: The selected candidate will work in a rotating shift system from Monday to Friday, with shifts changing on a weekly basis:Morning: 08:30 – 17:30Evening: 17:30 – 00:30Night: 00:30 – 08:30Weekends are off. Additionally, employees receive one full week off per month following the night shift rotation. Complementary benefits:No weekends and 1 week off after the Night Shift / per month.Food and Beverage during evening and late hours.Parking opportunityJob Description: Assisting with the maintenance of the Company Dealing SystemResponsible to run reporting as required by company managementInteracting with Liquidity providers and aggregators in order to obtain best pricing and execution for the company and its clientsQuoting, confirming, and transmitting client trades in line with company’s policy and proceduresProviding an overview of all relevant market activity to the investment teamKeeping up to date with market information and monitoring trends in all major currency pairingsUpdating colleagues and supporting colleagues from other departments Person Specification: A degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial or another related fieldAdvantage: strong grades in Mathematics, PhysicsKnowledge of MT4 platform will be considered as an advantageGood Knowledge of VBA and MS ExcelMust be fluent in the English languageExcellent numerical and statistical skillsAbility to work under pressureGood knowledge of Financial MarketsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPlease attach to your application the answers to the below questions: In how many weeks can you commence employment?Are you able to work on a shift basis?Do you have a valid driver’s license?Do you have a valid, clean criminal record / certificate of character?What is your expected annual gross salary for the role including allowances and benefits?(Mauritian Rupee)Are you able to work from the office location (Ebene, Mauritius) and commute to the office on a daily basis (at your own expense)?
